What is Walk & Talk Therapy?

Walk & Talk Phone Therapy is a gentle, spacious alternative to traditional in-person or virtual sessions. It takes place over the phone—while you walk. That might mean a quiet forest path, a familiar route through your neighbourhood, or simply moving around your home.

There’s no video. No eye contact. No need to sit still.
Just your voice, your breath, your body—and our conversation.

This format can be especially supportive for those who:
• Feel more grounded or open while moving
• Prefer less visual or face-to-face intensity
• Benefit from the natural regulation of walking and fresh air
•Are sitting too much during the day or feeling burnt out by video calls

Some clients find that walking while talking allows thoughts and feelings to flow more easily—like the therapy is moving alongside them.

What is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic therapy is a unique approach that distinguishes itself from traditional talk therapies by incorporating the information residing in your body, alongside your thoughts and feelings. Many of us were raised to undervalue, ignore, or override the messages we receive from our bodies. This disconnection can lead to challenges in self-awareness and emotional regulation. Additionally, trauma can make paying attention to the body uncomfortable or stressful, further complicating our relationship with it.

What is Gestalt Therapy?

Gestalt Therapy invites personal growth through increased self-awareness and acceptance. It emphasizes the importance of meeting ourselves where we are in the present moment, recognizing that true transformation happens not by forcing change but by meeting ourselves exactly where we are. It’s particularly helpful for anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected (from themselves or others). Instead of merely "fixing" symptoms, Gestalt Therapy views behaviors as creative adaptations to challenging circumstances, offering a compassionate understanding of how we have survived life's difficulties.
